Happy Memorial Day dear readers! Synonymous with the commencement of summer, Memorial Day brings barbecues, the season's first dip in the pool, grilled corn on the cob, afternoons basking in the sun, fresh squeezed lemonade, and time at the beach if you're very lucky.
Let us also take today though, to remember why we celebrate Memorial Day - to honor the tremendously brave men and women who have served our country.
Wishing you all a wonderful holiday! We'll be spending it relaxing poolside at our house, and grilling some hot dogs, complements of my husband! :)
