Fourth of July Entertaining - Table Setting

Glittering fireworks; patriotism at its finest; red, white, and blue everything - I truly adore the Fourth of July. I fondly remember celebrating the Fourth as a child with friends and family at my grandparent's house, savoring the grilled hot dog dinner followed by sheer amazement at the magnificent firework show. All of the children would eagerly line up their chairs at the top of the deck to get a good view, and like bursts of diamonds, each fizzling firework shone brighter and more radiant than we could have imagined.

So, how will I, Mrs. Buns be spending Independence Day this year? We'll make our annual pilgrimage to California to be with my parents and brother, enjoying a day at the beach followed by the tradition of dinner and fireworks at their country club. We're already counting down the days until this most special occasion!

For those of you hostessing this Fourth of July, I wanted to share some inspiration to help as you plan your table setting and menu. Wishing everyone a safe and happy Independence Day!
